The compassion to do the right thing, I have a Masters in Public Health with a concentration in public policy, I feel that my values and education will allow me to representative the people in my district with the proper ethics and morals to know what would be the best solutions , to vote accordingly and work in s bipartisan manner.

Party Issues

Why are you a running as a Republican?
I hold republican conservative values
What prior involvement have you had in the Republican Party or Conservative organizations?
Precinct delegate since 2008, Member of the Macomb County Republicans
What is your position on Obamacare?
We need to repeal Obama’s socialized medicine scheme/tax.
What is your position on abortion?
EVERY child should have the right to life.
What is your position on the 2nd Amendment?
The Right to Keep and Bear Arms is our Constitutional right and should never be taken away. We need to defend our right, our families and our country. My husband is an avid hunter and has a CCW
What is your position on public sector unions?
Everyone should have the right to join and support a labor union, and they should also have the choice not too.

State/County/Local Issues

What are the two biggest issues you feel Macomb County is facing today?
To continue to move Michigan forward in job creation and keeping legislators accountable on how they spend our hard earned tax dollars. Continue to make government spending transparent to the taxpayers
Do you think Macomb County should have casinos?
What is your position on the Ambassador bridge project?
We need another bridge, I cannot believe that a citizen owns an international bridge, we need to protect our borders.
What is your position on special millages like the DIA or Zoo millages?
Millages should be a last resort, and only used in true economic emergencies to cover necessary and unavoidable expenses. I do not believe that the DIA is in a true economic emergency, they are playing on our citizens heartstrings because they have seen the recent closing of the Science Center and it is unfortunate. Millages can usually be avoided with careful planning, analysis, and reprioritizing.
