Campaign Issues

Why are you running for this office?
Separate branches of government are needed for checks and balance. The board must not relinquish their legislative power.
What skillsets and real life experience do you have that makes you the best candidate for the role?
I’m a former retail store manager of 17 years. Managed total store level operations. Handled budget planning and tracking, accounting and payroll. Also, staff hiring training, evaluations and work schedules. Coordinate inventory control, receiving.
What are the top three issues you are concerned with for your district/municipality?
What are the solutions you will bring forward if elected?
Fiscal responsibility with tax payer’s funds. No new taxes. Oversee programs that are improperly funded or required.
What specific measures will you take to maintain low taxes and less expensive, limited government?
Cut employees and elected officials compensation by 5 percent. Pay their fair share of health benefits. County matched employee 401k.
If elected, what will you do to better promote transparency in government?
Residents can currently view all transactions the Board of Commissioners vote for on the county website.

Why are you a running as a Republican?
Conservative, believe in a smaller government with state responsibility. No government should tell us how to live our lives.
What prior involvement have you had in the Republican Party or Conservative organizations?
Currently a candidate for Precinct Delegate
What is your position on Obamacare?
This bill will yet again give us more taxes. Nobody can foresee how much this will cost. It will fail and our country will build up a huge deficit.
What is your position on abortion?
Life begins at conception.
What is your position on the 2nd Amendment?
A person has the right to keep and bear arms.
What is your position on public sector unions?
Unions do not belong in the public sector.

Budget & contracts

Should be privately funded
What is your position on special millages like the DIA or Zoo millages?
They have plenty of money.
