Our guest speaker this month is Vinnie Vernuccio, Mackinac Center for Public Policy, director of labor policy. Mr. Vernuccio will clearly explain the ballot proposals that voters will have to vote on in the November 6, 2012 election. There will be time for a Q & A session after his talk. Event Information:
Join us on Thursday, August 23 at 7 p.m. at Fern Hill Country Club for our School Board forum featuring John Wolfsberger who is heading up the Macomb County Republican Party School Board Initiative.

John will be speaking to us about what changes are coming with the school board elections switching to even-year November elections and will highlight what candidates need to do to be elected.

As always, come early and come hungry! Fern Hill features an excellent menu and great service.

Also feel free to bring a friend or two. We look forward to seeing you all there.

  • State Represenative Anthony Forlini, 24th District
  • Kim Meltzer, candidate for Clinton Township Clerk
  • Larry Rocca, candidate for Macomb County Treasurer
  • Juliana Sabatini, candidate for County Commissioner, 9th District
  • Steve Thomas, candidate for Macomb County Sheriff
  • Don Volaric candidate for Michigan’s 9th Congressional District
  • Todd Woodcox, candidate for Macomb County Sheriff
  • Mike Wrathell, candidate for Macomb County Prosecuting Attorney

We have extended invitations to all of the other Republican candidates and office-holders in our area and are waiting for replies. We will update our confirmed list of candidates each week. We also encourage any school board candidates that may not have yet filed to please feel free to contact us so we can get you on the agenda.

Event Information:
The next  general meeting of the Conservative Republicans of Central Macomb (CRMC) will be held on Thursday, March 22 at the Warfield Grille at 34275 Utica Rd (just south of 15 Mile Rd) in Fraser at 7 p.m. Guest speakers for this meeting will be Dan Bernard, a lawyer who will be discussing ObamaCare and the Law, and Greg Dildilian, candidate for Congress who will discuss why he is running for the nomination to run against Sander Levin..

The CRMC serves the Mount Clemens, Fraser, and Clinton Township residents. All residents of these municipalities are welcome to join our group. Our focus is on local matters, but we will discuss any matters important to our members.
