Event Information:
The November meeting of the RCNMC will be held on Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Hamlin Pub located at 55076 Van Dyke in Shelby Township (Van Dyke and 25 Mile Rd.).

This will be our 2012 Election Victory Celebration and final meeting of the year.  At this meeting we will celebrate Election Successes as well as Outstanding Individual Achievement.

This meeting will also mark the start of our 2013 membership drive.  We look forward to adding new members and re-signing existing members to continue to build the RCNMC as the Premier Republican Grassroots Organization in Northern Macomb County.

The final few days before the election are focused on Get Out the Vote Efforts.  Help the Romney/Ryan team turn out voters in Macomb County for Election Day on Tuesday.

Assistance is needed in making phone call and knocking doors.  Volunteering for three-hour shifts is requested but any assistance will be appreciated.

Every day from Friday through Tuesday, shifts will be available as follows:

• 6 p.m.- 9 p.m.

The Republican Committee of Northern Macomb County (RCNMC), Sterling Heights/Utica Republicans (SHUR), Conservative Republicans of Central Macomb (CRCM) and Macomb County Republican Women’s Club (MCRWC) are co-hosting a Christmas Party on Wednesday, December 5 from 7 p.m.-8:30 p.m. at Nick’s 22nd Street Steakhouse located at 48900 Van Dyke Ave.  in Shelby Township, MI (Van Dyke and 22 Mile Rd.).

The cost for the event is $10 and can be paid at the door with cash.  The price includes dinner and non-alcoholic beverages.  The dinner will feature chicken picatta, rice, salad and bread.  Alcoholic beverages are available for purchase.

  Steak House in Shelby Township and Catch 22 Bistro in Algonac, we are taking up a
  collection for the lone survivor of the South Dakota accident that took Nick’s and three of
  his friends’ lives. Thomas Edward “Thorny” Thorngate, 52 (lone survivor) has been
  removed from a drug induced coma and is currently in a hospital in Minnesota. His sons,
  16 – 32, have been traveling back and forth to be with their dad. We are collecting money
  to help the family pay the hospital bills and travel expenses. Checks should be payable to
  Thomas Edward Thorngate.

Event Information:
The RCNMC is organizing a Voter Identification Phone Bank for Thursday, November 1, 2012 from 4 p.m.-8 p.m. at the Macomb Victory Center located at 13285 Hall Road, Utica, MI.  This is a Get Out the Vote Call Night for Pete Hoekstra for Senate.

There are thousands of voters in Macomb County that need to be identified as to how they will vote in order to help campaign efforts.  The RCNMC and the other independent Republican organizations in the county are partnering with the Michigan Republican Party to aid the identification effort.
