Chesterfield Township/ New Baltimore Walk Day for Mitt Romney and Local Candidates

Event Information:
With only 10 days left before the election, come support Mitt Romney and local candidates by knocking door-to-door in Chesterfield Township and New Baltimore on Saturday, October 27.  Door knocking will be done to benefit:

  • Mitt Romney for U.S. President
  • Andrea LaFontaine for State Representative
  • Kathy Vosburg for County Commissioner
  • Republican Candidates for the Chesterfield Township Board of Trustees

This is a great  time to go out in force and get Conservatives in position to win in the general election. Phone shifts run from: 9am – 12pm, 12pm-3pm, 3pm-6pm and 6pm-9pm. The September meeting of the RCNMC will be held on Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at 7 p.m. at the Hamlin Pub located at 55076 Van Dyke in Shelby Township (Van Dyke and 25 Mile Rd.).

This meeting will focus on upcoming ballot initiatives.  Manny Lopez, managing editor of Michigan Capitol Confidential, will be discussing the initiatives this evening.

Manny Lopez Biography

Manny Lopez is managing editor of Michigan Capitol Confidential. Lopez comes to the Center with 14 years of journalism experience, most recently as editorial page editor at The Detroit News. He also spent time with The News as an editorial writer and automotive editor, winning awards from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers, and broke the national news stories about the GM and Chrysler bankruptcies. Lopez also spent four years as associate editor of the Kansas City Business Journal before joining The News. He holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the university of Kansas and a master’s degree in economics from the University of Detroit Mercy.
