I’m a bit concern with the recommendation to vote “NO” on proposition 5. I’m thinking of voting YES so that when the talk of raising taxes it would require them to work Bipartisan in order to pass that type of bill. Wouldn’t it make sense that any type of new tax should be debated extensively as a possible last ditch effort to raise taxes?
As far as the Prop 1 the recommended vote is “YES”, I’m from Macomb and I know that the city of Detroit or other cities such as Flint are in need of a Emergency Manager. I just dont like the idea that we have unelected official to run my city.
