In association with the University of Michigan Dearborn College Republicans, Union Conservatives is hosting a debate like no other! Union members are setting the stage for a senatorial debate. Confirmed candidates are: Scotty Boman, Clark Durant, Gary Glenn, Randy Hekman, Pete Hoekstra, Peter Konetchy, and Chuck Marino.

    I’d like to thank you for this posting. I’m happy tbat I get good wages and a better working environment. But my vote and my conscience are not for sale. My right to vote my conscience is not my unions business. If the union leadership would spend their efforts on making each workplace a better place to work, dealing honestly with the membership instead of the cronyism and nepotism that run rife throughout the organization now, everyone would want to be in a union. As it stands, we vote on an agreement instead of a contract that we can’t read and give away more every day. Our international constitutional convention last year voted to take the money from the strike fund and put it in the general fund so it would be easy to access the fund whenever leadership deems it necessary. Thanks for letting me voice my opinion.
