Campaign Issues

Why are you running for this office?
It’s a great community in which to live, work and raise a family. Harrison Township Tax dollars need to be spent more wisely to reserve funding for our Harrison Twp. Fire Department, Transpiration, better roads and sidewalks, and out Water & Sewer Infrastructure needs replacement and repairs.To insure better customer service for our residents and better treatment for all Harrison Township Employees.
What skillsets and real life experience do you have that makes you the best candidate for the role?
My educational background and work experience of 37 years
What are the top three issues you are concerned with for your district/municipality?
Funding for Sanitary Sewers, Harrison Twp. Fire Department, Transportation, better roads and sidewalks,  Water & Sewer Infrastructure needs replacement and repairs and installing Sanitary Sewers for the remaining Township.
What are the solutions you will bring forward if elected?
Support for future education for our Residents, Children and Township.
What specific measures will you take to maintain low taxes and less expensive, limited government?
I will do my best to maintain low taxes and fewer expenses in my community. Education and support by our top government agencies and support funding will insure lower taxes.
If elected, what will you do to better promote transparency in government?
The ideal level of government transparency I will follow is the Sunshine Standard. It is imperative that all levels of government proactively engage in sharing information with their citizens. My goal is to reach that standard and holding public officials accountable and fight against corruption.
Have you received any endorsements?  If so, please list.
I had a few endorsements, but due to the negative politics in our Harrison Township Board of Trustees, they backed out.  But, I still have the support from family, friends and Harrison Township citizens.

Why are you a running as a Republican?
First and foremost, Republicans believe that there should be far less government and more power to the people. Republicans follow Abraham Lincoln’s believed that every American regardless of skin color or religion should be allowed to be free. Republicans believe in equality for everyone regardless of religion, race, or gender. /We believe that God in Heaven is our creator, and we believe that sustaining life is of the utmost importance. We believe that every American should have the right to follow their dream without the interference of the government through mandates, regulations, and taxes. We believe that less taxes grows the economy.  We believe in helping those that are less fortunate. We believe that the American worker is our greatest assets and that we are a county of proud, hard working people. We believe in the people f this country, we believe in their ingenuity, their dedication and their patriotism. We believe in the men and women who sacrifice their lives to keep all of us free. We believe in equal rights for all and that’s why I am running an s a Republican.
What prior involvement have you had in the Republican Party or Conservative organizations?
Financial support for the Republican Party and/or the Conservative organizations.
What is your position on Obamacare?
I am against Obama care; each American should have the right to choose their own medical coverage and doctors.
What is your position on abortion?
Most people consider abortion is murder, I’m pro/con it really depends on each situation, for example, medical conditions and/or rape.   
What is your position on the 2nd Amendment?
I believe in the United States Constitution and the Bill of Rights that protect the right of the people.
What is your position on public sector unions?
I support all unions.

State/County/Local Issues

What are the two biggest issues you feel Macomb County is facing today?
Macomb County needs more Growth & Business.
Do you think Macomb County should have casinos?
No, I don’t think Macomb County should have casinos.
What is your position on the Ambassador bridge project?
My position on the Ambassador Bridge is undecided at this time.
What is your position on special millages like the DIA or Zoo millages?
I support both DIA and Zoo mileages.
